Ginyu can currently be used, if we don't consider the "Namek Saga" category, on his own category team and Extreme INT, and this is where the first problem arises: Extreme INT is infamous for having trouble with consistency and Ginyu does not really do much to fix that.
Ginyu's main role is to be a tank, he gets a 70% DEF boost when facing only one enemy and a 50% damage reduction when facing two or more, he lacks common Ki links, "Shattering the Limits" being the only one worth mentioning, and does not really offer much in terms of damage outside his own team.
The best part about this unit is definitely the damage reduction, although the fact that he gets 3 additional Ki (self-sufficiency) and 70% ATK when facing only one enemy is still nice: 50% on top of his decent stats allows him take hits very well even in Super Battle Road. Should you run Ginyu in your Extreme INT team? It really depends, he is not a bad filler option at all, he can actually tank better than [Netherworld Demon] Super Janemba under certain circumstances, but his links definitely hold him down heavily.
