Eternal Horror Legendary Super Saiyan Broly

Eternal Horror Legendary Super Saiyan Broly is a pretty good unit with an outdated Passive; a flat boost at start of turn and a lower damage multiplier are what holds down this unit, but a built-in additional Super Attack is a very good mechanic and now the unit has access to a category team so its value went up.

Currently LSS Broly can be used on Extreme PHY and Movie Bosses.

Prepared for Battle is not a good Ki link on this team and, without good Ki support, the unit will likely miss out on the first Super Attack; LSS Broly does not fit well on this team as he lacks common Ki links like Fear and Faith and Shocking Speed and the only ATK link he will have active is Fierce Battle. LSS Broly is a decent option as a floater, he just doesn’t compare to the top-tier unit in the element in terms of damage on this team; Crashing Maelstrom Omega Shenron and [Open The Gates of Hell] Coora (Final Form) are way better units to keep on rotation and their linking partners are going to occupy the two slots next to them.

This category was definitely a blessing for this unit; the fact that the Leader of the team, [Explosive Evolution] Turles, is basically a support unit that provides all the units on the team with a constant 3 Ki and 40% ATK boost makes LSS Broly so much better, making him able to Super Attack consistently and adding a start of turn percentage boost where he previously didn’t have anything. On this team, unfortunately, Eternal Horror Legendary Super Saiyan Broly is the third best unit with that name; both [Indestructible Saiyan Evil] LSS Broly and Super Warrior of Destruction Legendary Super Saiyan Broly EZA are better units than him and they can’t be used together. If you don’t have any of the other versions of this character, Eternal Horror Legendary Super Saiyan Broly is a solid choice on rotation with Turles as he can hit pretty hard consistently.

Supreme damage is nothing to write home about, especially if it comes with no additional effect; the 12 Ki multiplier is quite high, at 150%, slightly above average.

LSS Broly’s Leader Skill is nothing special, he can be used as a Sub-Leader for Dokkan Battlefield, but [Second Super Saiyan] Super Saiyan Trunks (Teen) and [Fusion of Two Powers] SS Goku (Angel) & SS Vegeta (Angel) are better than him for a mono-PHY team and we have a Baba Shop unit, [Diabolical Strike] Nappa, with the same Leader Skill; in addition to this [Emperor%27s Devotion] Frieza (Full Power) will get the same Leader Skill as LSS Broly when his Extreme Z-Awakening will be released.

7000 ATK at start of turn is very outdated as a boost, but the fact that LSS Broly gets basically a guaranteed additional Super Attack every turn makes him still decent. To put this into perspective, 7000 ATK equates to a 25% boost under LSS Broly’s own Leader Skill, 17% under Coora (Final Form)’s and 15% under Turles’, all of which are ridiculously low even when calculating the unit at 55% in the Potential System.

As I said, Prepared for Battle is not that good of a link for an Extreme PHY unit as it’s not common in the element; in addition to this LSS Broly is an Extreme type that lacks Big Bad Bosses, the strongest link this type of unit could have, and having Super Saiyan certainly does not make up for that; Berserker is another useless ATK link, it’s very niche and it activates only when your HP drop below 50%. I will say that LSS Broly’s links are not as bad on Movie Bosses, but it’s also true that he suffers from a lot of competition on that team because of his name.

The best way to go for this unit is not invest primarily in Criticals and leave the rest for Additional Attacks; lv.15 Critical and lv.11 Additional will result on average in more damage. Going any further than lv.11 in Additionals in not needed since the unit already gets a guaranteed Additional Super Attack, better than anything that could come from the Potential System.

LSS Broly does not have a farmable Super Attack and he is after all a pretty outdated unit, you should not invest Kais into him unless you are planning on using him on Movie Bosses because you are lacking [Indestructible Saiyan Evil] LSS Broly or Super Warrior of Destruction Legendary Super Saiyan Broly.
