Super Powered Fusion - SSJ Goku & SSJ Vegeta is one of the best units in the game both in terms of offense and defense.
High damage output
High defense
Easily collects Ki thanks to its Passive
Fits in a lot of teams (Potara, Super INT, Majin Buu Saga)
Subpar Link Set
Difficult to get his “transformation” mechanic off
SA is not farmable, even though the unit is worth the Grand Kais/Elder Kais

Super Powered Fusion - SSJ Goku & SSJ Vegeta is a great unit, other than on his own “Potara” team, on Super INT and “Majin Buu Saga”. Being very well-balanced he can absorb most hits and dish out damage at the same time, but donìt expect him to always synergise that well with the rest of the team without some adequate team composition.
SS Goku & SS Vegeta's 12-17 Ki causes colossal damage and has no additional effect, whereas their 18+ Ki Super causes mega-colossal damage and raises their ATK by 50% for one turn. Because of the higher multiplier and the boost, there's a big difference between the two Super Attacks, and this is where not having many Ki links starts to hurt.
With the introduction of this unit, the "Potara" category received a huge buff since the previous category leader, [Bonds of Union Warriors] Kefla, was giving only 2 Ki and 120% to all stats. Ki + 3, HP and ATK 170% and DEF 130% is a lot for a category filled with units that were already among the best in the game.
The first part of SS Goku & SS Vegeta's Passive gives them a 120% boost to both ATK and DEF, which, on top of their LR stats, makes them a great unit even without having to transform in Super Vegito, and 2 additional Ki per rainbow Ki sphere obtained, making them semi-self-sufficient. In addition to this, once per battle, from the 6th turn, when your HP are below 50%, SS Goku & SS Vegeta are going to fuse together and transform into Super Vegito. When SS Goku & SS Vegeta transform, your HP are fully recovered, they receive 3 additional Ki instead of 2 per rainbow Ki sphere, their boost to ATK and DEF jumps up to 150% and they gain the ability to counter normal attacks. This last part, in conjunction with their high stats and boost from the Passive, makes them the most destructive unit in the game.
Links are definitely the downside of this unit: while having "Fierce Battle" is huge for an LR, the overall lack of Ki links hurts. "Prepared for Battle" and "Saiyan Warrior Race" are not enough to guarantee an 18+ Ki Super Attack and them being semi-self-sufficient doesn't help the other units on rotation if there is not much synergy. "Experienced Fighters" is difficult to activate and requires a unit from outside the category to be activated.
Unit | Explanation |
---|---|
Outshining Darkness Super Gogeta | While only getting a 90% boost from the Leader Skill, Super Gogeta is capable of activating most of SSJ Goku and SSJ Vegeta’s links, for a total of 35% ATK and 2 Ki, offering also with his Super Attack a debuff on the enemy’s attack. |
[Saiyans Proof of Power] SS3 Bardock | Another unit that is only going to get a 90% boost, but shares with the LR the same Links Gogeta does while adding a 50% chance to seal the Super Attack of the enemy. |
Infinite Radiance Super Vegito | Adds 2 Ki and 25% ATK, less than the units mentioned above, but can output more damage with its counters, links better when the LR “fuses” and gets the full boost from the Leader Skill. |
[True Value of the Potara] Vegito | While not having the Super Saiyan Link this card gives a 30% ATK and DEF to all allies and an additional 25% when it supers for a total of 70% to the LR in ATK%, 30% DEF and 2 Ki. |
Unparalleled Golden Ki Super Vegito | The old version of the PHY Vegito, 2 Ki and 25% ATK plus an addition 30% ATK for all allies when it supers. |
Azure Omnipotence Super Saiyan God SS Vegito | The older version of Vegito Blue actually links better than the TEQ one with the LR. Offers 2500 ATK from Kamehameha, 25% ATK and 2 Ki while adding damage mitigation, additional attacks and counters |
Blade of Hope and Dreams Super Saiyan Trunks (Future) | Trunks is another really good option for the team since its Passive can generate orbs for the LR and his Links add a total of 25% ATK and 2 Ki. |
[Full-Tilt Kamehameha] SS 2 Gohan (Youth) | Gohan technically shares more Links with the SSJ Goku and SSJ Vegeta than the units mentioned above, but I’ve listed him so far because of the fact that you are not always going to have enough orbs for both the units. Adds 2 Ki, 45% ATK and a flat 5000 ATK from Legendary Power. |
Heavy focus on Critical since both before and after the transformation that is the build that’s going to output the most damage. The unit gets a lv.5 natural Dodge that fortunately enough does not interfere with his “counter” mechanic.

Super Powered Fusion - SSJ Goku & SSJ Vegeta is not a farmable unit, meaning that to max him out you are going to have to use 19 Elder Kais/Grand Kais, a very high cost in terms of resources that is fortunately completely paid off by how good of a unit he is.
This is what the unit was designed for, this game mode can be handled by SS Goku & SS Vegeta with barely any help from other units. All the LRs are great tank under high Leader Skills even when not getting a direct buff from their Passives, this one on top of that gets 120% DEF in its “unfused” state. Using either a double SS Goku & SS Vegeta lead or a Outshining Darkness Super Gogeta and SS Goku & SS Vegeta is possibly the easiest way to complete the Extreme TEQ stage. An Ultra Super Attack from this unit can take out the weaker bosses of the event and the great DEF can allow it tank even Super Attacks.
