Due to how consistently Majin Vegeta can get to exactly 17 Ki on this team, he is actually the second hardest hitter, right after [Golden Fist] SS3 Goku , the hardest hitter in the game. Having Turles as a floater, providing a 40% ATK boost at start of turn, is not only amazing for Super Saiyan 3 Goku, but also for Majin Vegeta, since they have similar Super Attack mechanics, and Majin Vegeta’s ATK doesn’t drop as dramatically when there is no Ki support, since his strongest Super Attack is the 12-17 Ki one. Majin Vegeta will start at already 11 Ki, when paired with Super Saiyan 3 Goku, thanks to Over in a Flash and Shattering the Limit being Ki links in common between the two; Majin Vegeta does also share Royal Lineage with the Leader of the team, Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta, but that’s not really that relevant as that link only provides 1 Ki.
Majin Vegeta has a pretty high natural DEF, on which he can rely to tank relatively well even without a boost; his average DEF will be the same as on Majin Buu Saga or Resurrected Warriors, since the DEF boost from the Leader Skill is the same.
This is Majin Vegeta’s average ATK when Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta is on rotation:
Majin Vegeta | |
---|---|
Average Attack | 3,098,033 |
This is Majin Vegeta’s average ATK when Turles is on rotation:
Majin Vegeta | |
---|---|
Average Attack | 4,499,922 |
If Turles were to transform, his ATK would just be the same as when Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta is on rotation; it’s still a very size able drop, but it’s nothing compared to what Super Saiyan 3 Goku loses.
LSS Broly comes in third among the hard hitters on the team, he is not nearly as consistent as on Movie Bosses, so his performance will not be as impressive here. Due to the fact that LSS Broly receives a flat boost of 80.000 ATK when performing the Super Attack instead of a percentage-based one, he doesn’t benefit as much as Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Majin Vegeta from support units. LSS Broly is actually sort of sacrificed on the optimal version of the team in order to make the other rotation more consistent, by putting Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta on rotation with him; having two Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta as floaters, would drastically drop the ATK of the rotation with Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Majin Vegeta 66% of the times, so, by keeping one on main rotation, we are trying to avoid that situation.
Pure Saiyans is the first category team on which LSS Broly is not paired with his best linking partner, Hideous Super Saiyan Super Saiyan Broly.
LSS Broly will reach 18+ Ki only 33% of the times on this team; you could run a unit like Shattering Strike Super Saiyan 2 Goku or Courage in the Heat of Battle Super Saiyan Bardock instead of Super Saiyan 3 Bardock to make him more consistent, but the trade-off would not be worth it.
This would be the rotation’s average ATK with SS2 Goku:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
7,791,865 | LSS Broly | 4,510,339 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,669,029 | Floater | Average ATK |
SS2 Goku | 612,497 |
LSS Broly’s does actually display pretty high values on this rotation, but the support unit has very low ATK and, as I said, the support Passive does not make as much of a difference as on the other rotation due to the flat boost on Super Attack; LSS Broly will reach exactly 18 Ki on this rotation with SS2 Goku, so he will be able to launch his strongest Super Attack.
This is the same rotation with SS3 Bardock:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
8,182,658 | LSS Broly | 3,358,535 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,724,634 | Floater | Average ATK |
SS3 Bardock | 2,099,489 |
While LSS Broly’s ATK dropped because he can only reach 16 Ki, SS3 Bardock’s offensive presence is a whole different thing compared to SS2 Goku and his support Passive even increased Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta’s ATK.
In terms of DEF, LSS Broly will displays the same values as on Resurrected Warriors, but there are two important things to point out: having Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta on rotation is completely different from having Hideous Super Saiyan Super Saiyan Broly, speaking of defensive capability, and LSS Broly is now working with a much higher amount of HP, meaning that any damage taken will be less important. LSS Broly’s DEF after the Super Attack is still a pretty average value and taking damage is not bad to begin with, since we want SS3 Bardock’s Passive to be active when he is on rotation with Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
Since we are planning to have Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta on this rotation, it would make sense to have a unit with Prepared for Battle paired with him.
Super Saiyan 3 Broly is infamous for being a glass cannon and, in this case, that can actually help us lower our HP faster in order to activate Super Saiyan 3 Bardock’s Passive; the fact that Super Saiyan 3 Broly is a nuker is not really the best thing, since any large amount of orbs will likely be destined for the LR on the next rotation, but, since we do run a lot units, like Turles, that can provide additional Ki, that shouldn’t be an issue: Super Saiyan 3 Broly already gets an unconditional 100% ATK boost at start of turn and a bare minimum of 12% ATK from the board, he is not as reliant on orbs as other nukers
Super Saiyan 3 Broly will be able to collect on average 6,5 Ki spheres to boost his ATK, meaning he will get a 178% ATK boost, and he links decently enough with Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta, since they do activate Super Saiyan and Fierce Battle for each other.
This is the rotation’s average ATK when Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta is the floater:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
7,556,521 | SS3 Broly | 2,663,301 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,446,610 | Floater | Average ATK |
SSB Vegeta | 2,446,610 |
This is the same rotation when Turles is the floater:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
7,080,686 | SS3 Broly | 2,663,301 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,891,448 | Floater | Average ATK |
Turles | 1,142,729 |
With this amount of orbs collected, Super Saiyan 3 Broly would lower his DEF by 65% and, since there are no units that provide support in that regard, his average DEF will be 15.207; this amount of DEF is incredibly low, but, again, it’s not that bad if we consider that we actually want to be at 70% HP or below and only 25% of the enemies’ attacks will fall into the middle slot. If Super Saiyan 3 Broly were to collect only one Ki sphere from the board, which is possible, since Turles provides 3 Ki with his Passive, his DEF at 100% would be 39.105.
Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) is an amazing unit on this team, he shares Prepared for Battle with the Leader, Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta, and LSS Broly and Over in a Flash with the hardest hitters; in addition to this, Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) can activate his strongest ATK link, The First Awakened, when SS3 Bardock is on rotation.
When Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) is in his normal state, he is less powerful offensively, but, depending on how far he is in the potential system, he might be better than his “Mastered” version when it comes to defensive viability.
This would be the rotation’s average ATK when SS3 Bardock is the floater, activating The First Awakened:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
7,330,010 | Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) | 2,471,750 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,506,663 | Floater | Average ATK |
SS3 Bardock | 2,351,596 |
Unfortunately Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) lacks Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta does not have Godly Power, but this is still a rotation worth running.
This would be the exact same rotation, but with Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) transformed:
Hitter | Average Attack | DPT |
---|---|---|
Mastered Ultra Instinct | 2,927,923 | 7,786,183 |
The difference is not as impressive as you might have thought because the transformation on this team has a very low chance of taking place; Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) will lose all of the ATK boosts he built up prior to the transformation and, since this change would only take place near the end of the event, when the enemies start hitting harder, he would not have the chance to build it up again.
Being in the Pure Saiyans category is not enough to make Super Saiyan 4 Goku as relevant as he used to be during the 120% meta, but it’s still something; Super Saiyan 4 Goku can hit hard and also tank decently well under the 170% DEF Leader Skill, he doesn’t benefit as much as other units from having support units on the team, but it should be mentioned that his best linking partner, Inklings of Ultimate Power Super Saiyan 3 Goku (GT) (Golden Giant Ape) is also in the category and he is almost as good as [Saiyans Proof of Power] SS3 Bardock as a floater.
Super Saiyan 4 Goku’s ability to counter increases his average ATK by a significant amount, he will always have at least Super Saiyan and Fierce Battle active by being on rotation with the Leader.
This would be the rotation’s average ATK when Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta is the floater:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
7,310,648 | SS4 Goku | 2,592,660 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,446,610 | Floater | Average ATK |
SSB Vegeta | 2,446,610 |
This would be the average ATK when Turles is the floater:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
6,838,393 | SS4 Goku | 3,312,390 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,891,448 | Floater | Average ATK |
Turles | 1,142,729 |
In terms of Ki, this pair is pretty consistent, especially since we are going to have Turles on one rotation providing 3 with his Passive; when Turles is the floater, all units will only need one Ki to Super Attack, making easy to set up for Super Saiyan 3 Goku on the next rotation.
Super Saiyan 4 Goku is not exactly a tank, but his DEF on this team will already be above average after one Super Attack; in addition to this he will add a 30% chance to counter a Super Attack with his Passive.
I will start by listing the best two options as floaters and then I will get into the viable substitutes.
Turles is just overall an amazing unit, he provides 3 Ki and a huge 40% ATK boost without a restriction; the only thing that holds back this unit is the transformation Passive and, even with that, since it can only take place when the HP are below 80% and it only has a 25% chance to actually activate, he is still one the best options as a floater.
In terms of offensive feats, there is not much to say, Turles is not that impressive by himself, unless he “powers up”, but that added Ki and 40% support generates more than any other unit in the third slot of the rotation with Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Majin Vegeta. Since Majin Vegeta already starts at 11 Ki, with Turles, he will be at 14, only needing 3 for his strongest Super Attack, which is quite easy to accomplish; Super Saiyan 3 Goku will reach an average of 20 Ki, when Turles is on rotation, and he is going to be the only unit who actually needs to collect Ki from the board in the first place.
This is the the rotation with SS3 Goku and Majin Vegeta when Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta is the floater, meaning there is no Ki or ATK support:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
6,448,417 | LR SS3 Goku | 953,837 |
Majin Vegeta | 3,341,563 | Floater | Average ATK |
SSB Vegeta | 2,153,017 |
This is the same rotation, but with Turles:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
11,652,042 | LR SS3 Goku | 6,006,285 |
Majin Vegeta | 4,628,624 | Floater | Average ATK |
Turles | 1,017,133 |
Turles just casually added 5.203.625 ATK to the rotation, despite the fact that he can generate on his own less than half of what Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta can generate.
Turles will show up on average 3 times during a fight of 8-9 turns and any of the first phases of a Dokkan Event would not be able to do significant damage before falling down against this team, so it’s highly difficult for his Passive to actually go off and loses that support.
Super Saiyan 3 Bardock is a hard hitter, but his main purpose on this team is to provide additional Ki for Super Saiyan 3 Goku, a 40% ATK boost when the HP are at 70% or below and activate Experienced Fighters for the LR.
Any normal unit that receives its ATK boost when performing the Super Attack would actually perform better on rotation compared to as a floater, since it would be able to benefit from support Passive, but Super Saiyan 3 Bardock can provide that boost at start of turn for himself, so he is always going to get an average of 150% from his whole Passive.
This is the rotation with LSS Broly and Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta with SS3 Bardock:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
8,182,658 | LSS Broly | 3,358,535 |
SSB Vegeta | 2,724,634 | Floater | Average ATK |
SS3 Bardock | 2,099,489 |
This is the rotation with SS3 Goku and Majin Vegeta with SS3 Bardock:
Average DPT | Teams | Average ATK |
---|---|---|
11,353,731 | LR SS3 Goku | 5,949,049 |
Majin Vegeta | 3,341,563 | Floater | Average ATK |
SS3 Bardock | 2,063,120 |
As you can see, the values for the the hardest hitting rotation are actually incredibly close to the ones when Turles is on rotation.
SS3 Goku (GT) (Giant Ape) will actually boost your main unit’s ATK by a higher amount on average compared to SS3 Bardock, and he doesn’t have the Super type restriction, so he will also boost Majin Vegeta and LSS Broly.
